My Information

What information do I collect about you?
I only keep the bare bones information we need to liaise with each other on a project we are working on together.
These are the details that you as a client or supplier have given to me.
This will usually be your name, email address and perhaps a landline or mobile telephone number.
I will also keep any separate email address and a geographical address for invoice purposes.
How I use your information
Your details will be used to respond to you in connection with the project we are working on together, to send you an invoice, or follow up on any administration
Occasionally I may write to you on the basis of legitimate interest.
For example;
It may be useful for a regular client to have advance knowledge of my holiday dates, or to receive updated showreels, or your clients may be interested to know of any accolades.
You can ask me to stop contacting you in this way, and I must do so, unless I have a legitimate overriding reason to carry on.
How I protect your information
No details will be shared with or sold to anyone else for any purpose, although you may ask me to share them for a specific reason.
Invoice and payment details are password protected.
How long information is kept
I will keep your details on file for at least 7 years in line with HMRC requirements.
I store the original audio file projects on my password protected pc, because you may ask me to try to retrieve it if you have lost your copy, and also because you may want to amend, re-licence or redistribute it, in the future. However, I cannot guarantee that all audio will be kept indefinitely, due to storage requirements.
My email marketing policy
I do not sell or exchange mailing lists. I will only send email marketing material on the grounds of legitimate interests to the following
- Occasionally, a regular client who may find the detail helpful
- A business which has asked for details of my services
- A business whose details are available on the internet, and whom I have targeted due to their use of voiceover services.
You have the right to object, and I must comply with your request to me to stop sending this type of email, unless I have a legitimate overriding reason to carry on.
Your rights
You have a right to request a copy of the information I have stored. I will request 2 pieces of identification from you to do this.
You have the right object to being contacted and I will stop unless there is a legitimate overriding reason for me to continue.
