Feathers, Toads and voicing for brilliant brands. What a year 2025 has been!

This time last year? I had no idea who I’d be voicing for in 2026. I hadn’t started writing The Bubbling Toad Stories. There was no artwork, no beautiful website, and no audiobook. Though words and phrases had just begun to drift into this little bird’s head.

Fundamentally? My work is all about human connection. It always has been. And it’s more important than ever. As AI mediocrity spreads across platforms like wildfire, I still say that I want your audience to feel something. I want them to feel connected, valued, a part of something. The same applies to The Bubbling Toad Stories. In a fractured, polarised world, a real human voice can make all the difference. How do I know? Because you tell me when you book me over and over again. And that’s what listeners tell me when they’ve snuggled up with the Toad tales, too. Warmth, authenticity, compassion. 2025 Crackers Audio Christmas Card

What with voicing and writing and all the things going on behind the scenes, I honestly didn’t think I’d be able to create a crackers audio Christmas card this year. I thought I might be able to get away with it, because there’s a beautiful Christmas tale in The Bubbling Toad Stories. But when one of my lovely clients told me how much he looked forward to it every year, I woke up the next morning and wrote the script. I don’t like to let anyone down, and it’s tradition. It’s also lots of fun. So, without further ado, here it is!

Thank you for trusting me with your scripts, your brand, your creative, it means the world. The scripts I voice for you, the audiobook I’ve birthed? I haven’t done it alone. It’s about team work, all of it. So thank you to you for inviting me to be a part of your team. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

And thank you to all who’ve been a part of mine, I appreciate you more than you’ll know. Not least, the man of the nest, Leon, who’s done the sound design and mix, not to mention project management for The Bubbling Toad Stories.
